Back on the Block! - Lionel Milton is back on the block.
Actually, two blocks up from
Lionel's original gallery space, Lionel Milton and Tony Ciaccio are
proud to announce the upcoming opening of their new venture: "Elleone
Gallery featuring Lionel Milton" located at 2001 Magazine Street.
Expect much of the same hip NOLA-centric funky urban art in the genre
pioneered
and mastered by Lionel Milton. In addition to the fine art collection of Lionel Milton, Elleone
Gallery will offer various prints, functional art, clothing, jewelry
and custom items reflecting the distinctive style and vision of Lionel
Milton.
Lionel Milton's work is in the collections of famous actors, pro
athletes, musicians and art enthusiasts throughout the world. He has
been featured on MTV and BET in addition to other projects for
national consumer brands such as Disney, Target, Sony, Budweiser and
Atronic among others. In New Orleans, Lionel's work will be featured
at the 2007 Voodoo Music Experience and again has created the official
festival poster. Also, you can find Lionel annually showcasing his
work at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Lionel proudly
hails from the Lower 9th Ward and today, Lionel still resides in New
Orleans - and intends on never leaving.
Elleone Gallery at 2001 Magazine Street is housed in a landmark turn
of the century Greek revival building with soaring 15 foot ceilings
and exceptional natural light.
The building had been a bank and to this day still has a working
antique vault.
The Gallery as now designed reflects sights, sounds and attitudes of
New Orleans interpreted by Lionel Milton's creative eye. |
